Wuo Taï – Introduction / Module 1 – Articulations
with Roland and Nathalie Combes – the founders of this practice
2027, March 26-29
Aikido Dojo, Hasenheide 9, 10967 Berlin

What is Wuo Taï?
Wuo Taï comes from the meeting of osteopathy and dance. It´s an innovative, holistic manual therapy approach that links physical structure with various physiological functions.
Wuo Taï was created by Roland Combes, a French osteopath, in the 2000s.
He successfully and harmoniously blended Western knowledge – such as osteopathy, embryology, and anatomy – with Eastern philosophies, including Chinese medicine, Taoism, and the I Ching.
How does it work?
In Wuo Taï an unconscious connection is established as we suspend ourselves from another person´s body. Through fascial suspension combined with spontaneous, intuitive movements, deep relaxation allows the recipient to release tension in the fascial tissues.
Fascia serves as a medium for the exchange of information. Wuo Taï therefore helps restore physical, biological, mental, and emotional balance.
Who is it for?
Wuo Taï is for people who…
– are curious and want to learn an original, contemporary practice inspired by osteopathy
– are already healthcare professionals – such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, or practitioners of Chinese or holistic medicine
– are involved in sports, movement practices, yoga, massages or dance
Wuo Taï can be practiced at any age; no prior therapeutic experience of specific prerequisites are required.
